8 moments that remind us all how talented Brittany Murphy was
Doug Peters Doug Peters
ON THE 20TH of this month, we’ll reach the eighth anniversary of the sudden and tragic death of actress Brittany Murphy.
Murphy played so many diverse roles that she still doesn’t get enough credit for. She died at the age of 32, but still managed to squeeze all of this work (and lots more, tbh) into her career.
1. She gave us this brilliantly hilarious (but far too real) scene in Riding In Cars With Boys.
2. She broke everybody’s heart when she played Daisy Randone in Girl, Interrupted.
It’s impossible not to think of her every time you hear The End of the World by Skeeter Davis.
Girl, Interrupted Girl, Interrupted
3. She proved her talents went beyond acting when she played Gloria in Happy Feet.
4. And who could forget her tune with Paul Oakenfold?
5. It was impossible to dislike her in Clueless.
Tai was the real star of this film.
6. She was the perfect Luanne in King of the Hill.
7. And she worked well with kids.
8. She tried to stop the children of the 90s from smoking cigarettes.
RIP queen.
